The next era of heat technology will not be defined by ever higher temperatures. It will be defined by systems that measure more precisely, respond more intelligently and communicate more clearly.
From fixed heat to responsive heat
Traditional infrared products are often controlled by time, power level or room temperature. These variables remain useful, but they do not directly represent the individual response to radiant heat. Responsive systems add a new layer: they connect measured temperature information with controllable output.
Measurement as the starting point
With SAFETY SENSE, INFRAMEDIC measures temperature without contact in two areas of the back. The upper and lower measurement zones provide differentiated information instead of reducing the body to a single room value. Measurement alone is not the goal; it becomes useful when it supports transparent control.
Control in the browser
ONE-CONTROL is browser-based and does not require a dedicated app. Depending on the product configuration, current or activatable functions can include back programs, meditation and relaxation content, user recognition, usage billing and a configuration module. The interface can display back temperature, operating status, conditioning phase and software version.
Planned development areas include LED control, music, online updates, remote diagnostics and user profiles. Future functions remain subject to technical implementation and product-specific availability.
Learning systems with clear boundaries
Artificial intelligence may help identify patterns, support configuration and improve the consistency of applications. It should not operate as an invisible authority. Users and operators need understandable settings, clear data handling and the ability to intervene. Responsible automation strengthens human control rather than replacing it.
Modular by design
The future also belongs to modular platforms. Sensors, control electronics and emitter systems can be adapted to chairs, reclining cabins, retrofit projects and OEM products. This reduces the need to reinvent the entire system for every application while allowing the final product to retain its own design and purpose.
Responsibility remains central
Technical progress does not remove the need for correct installation, documentation, conformity assessment and appropriate use. Wellness communication must remain free of unsupported medical promises. The INFRAMEDIC approach combines innovation with these boundaries.
Heat that understands you
This principle summarises the direction: heat should no longer be treated as a fixed setting imposed on every user. It can become a controlled, measurable and adaptable experience—developed with the individual in mind.
