INFRAMEDIC emerged from a simple but far-reaching observation: heat applications are often designed around the device, the cabin or a fixed program—while the individual human response remains largely invisible.
A personal motivation
The starting point was the experience that warmth can feel supportive and pleasant, yet the same setting does not suit every person at every moment. Instead of accepting this variability as unavoidable, the question became whether heat could be measured and controlled more intelligently.
Turning observation into engineering
This question led to the development of a technology platform that connects non-contact temperature sensing, control electronics and modular infrared emitters. The aim was not to add another infrared product to the market, but to create a system in which the heat output can respond to measured conditions.
The INFRAMEDIC platform
SAFETY SENSE measures temperature without contact in two areas of the back—an upper and a lower measurement zone. ONE-CONTROL processes the information and manages compatible system functions through a browser-based interface. Dedicated emitter platforms deliver the controlled infrared output.
The current patent portfolio includes two granted patents and seven patent applications pending. These rights support the long-term development of the platform and its integration into products and OEM solutions.
From a product idea to several fields of application
The platform approach makes it possible to separate core technology from the final product. It can be used in infrared chairs, reclining cabins, retrofit concepts and partner products. The same principle can therefore support different designs while retaining a consistent control architecture.
Responsibility as part of the brand
INFRAMEDIC stands for clear communication. Technical functions, wellness applications and medical claims must remain distinct. No sensor, patent or software feature replaces proper product documentation, conformity assessment or individual professional advice where it is needed.
Three websites, three clear roles
The INFRAMEDIC ecosystem is organised so that each website answers a different question: technology and partnerships, products and advice, or the replacement and evaluation of existing infrared installations. Together they create a coherent path from knowledge to application.
- inframedic.com – international technology, patents and OEM integration
- inframedic.ch – products, applications, advice and service in Switzerland and the DACH region
- infrarotwelt.ch – evaluation, replacement and trade-in of existing infrared cabins and saunas
