Gerd Mattheiss – Founder, CEO & Inventor
Gerd Mattheiss is the founder and CEO of INFRAMEDIC AG and the inventor behind its sensor-controlled infrared technology platform. He has worked in the premium infrared sector for almost two decades, combining practical product experience with a clear objective: heat technology should adapt to the individual user — not require the user to adapt to a rigid system.
A personal motivation
His work is also shaped by personal experience. A congenital structural condition developed progressively over many years and changed the way he thought about comfort, heat and responsible product design. This experience did not lead to a medical promise. It led to a technical question: how can infrared heat be delivered more individually, more consistently and with greater awareness of the person using it?
From product experience to a technology platform
INFRAMEDIC was developed from this question. The platform combines non-contact temperature sensing, responsive control logic and modular infrared emitter systems. Its purpose is not to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but to create a responsible framework for premium wellness products, OEM integration and future intelligent heat applications.
The current intellectual-property portfolio comprises two granted patents and seven further patent applications. Development and system engineering are coordinated in Switzerland.
Knowledge before claims
The INFRAMEDIC Heat Book reflects the same philosophy as the technology itself: understanding before intensity, responsibility before promises, and individual perception before generalized assumptions. It is intended as an educational resource for users, specialist partners, planners and everyone interested in the responsible use of heat.
Heat, that understands you.
