Transparency in Communication – Why Claims Undermine Trust
In the US market, credibility is earned through restraint. Overpromising may create short-term attention, but it weakens trust and increases regulatory risk.
This chapter defines transparency as a strategic advantage: explaining what a heat concept is designed to do (support controlled exposure) and what it is not designed to do (diagnose, treat, or cure).
Transparent communication avoids:
- medical wording,
- disease references,
- “results” language,
- implied therapeutic substitution.
Instead, it emphasizes:
- education,
- user awareness,
- safety logic,
- responsible use.
In practice, transparency makes a brand stronger because it aligns marketing with reality and reduces misunderstanding. It also protects the reader: expectations remain realistic, and responsibility stays central.
This book adopts transparency as a principle. Heat deserves attention, not exaggeration.
